Steal an Egg gamepasses and Robux boosts: what is documented, what it costs, and what is free instead

2x Money. The wiki's description reads 'Earn x2 more money' and the cost is 399 Robux; the pass links to Roblox game-pass 1935039424. Because income is per second and permanent, this is the one purchase whose value grows with you: doubling $2.8K/s on a first Axolotl is $2.8K/s; doubling a $215M/s Mutant Shark is $215M/s.

2x growth speed. Listed on the same page with an icon but a price that is cut off in the wiki source. It halves the time an egg spends in the pen — which is to say it halves the time a pen is a raid target. For a player who grows nine-hour Gorilla Kings and sixteen-hour Nightflames on busy servers, that may matter more than money. We do not list a price we cannot read; check the pass in-game.

The Boosts page calls them Robux speed multipliers and lists them as temporary in the Rift Boss Shop's parallel offering. Prices rise roughly with the multiplier but not linearly: the first three doublings cost 3, 6 and 15 Robux each; the last costs 426.

The pass doubles income forever, so its value is simply your income per second. Framed as a question — how much income do I need for the pass to matter? — the wiki's numbers give a feel for scale. At Forest income (a few hundred dollars per second) doubling changes nothing you can buy. At a Leviathan ($220K/s) it is another Leviathan's worth of income without a 25-minute egg to defend. At a Cosmic Gorilla ($180K/s) plus a Cosmic Gecko ($30K/s) it is an extra $210K/s. At the Eternal tier it is hundreds of millions per second.

So the honest version: buy it when your base income is high enough that doubling it changes which upgrade you can afford next, not before. Since it never expires, waiting costs you nothing but the income you would have doubled in the meantime — which, early, is negligible.

Speed boosts are temporary, so their value is what they let you do during the window: enter a zone you cannot yet enter, or get back out with a large egg you could not otherwise carry. The cheapest useful case is the first: a 3-Robux ×2 turns 500 speed into 1,000 and passes Lake's 900 gate on the spot. The expensive case is the endgame gap — 700M for Cosmic, 2.5B for Cherry Blossom, 7B for Titan Temple — where a ×4K at 1,375 Robux is the only way to bridge a gap of several orders of magnitude in one purchase.

The free alternative is documented and works: hatch rewards from the cheapest eggs in the current zone, repeated on the five-minute nest cycle, plus treadmill training. The speed guide walks through it gate by gate.

Bear traps: free, unlimited, three at a time, seven-second hold, placed only while holding an egg, never in the safe zone. They do the job of protecting a pen better than any pass because they cost nothing per egg. The Rift Boss Shop sells temporary cash multipliers, speed multipliers and treadmill boosters for Boss Tokens earned by defeating Overlords — the same effects as the Robux boosts, paid in play. Boss Mastery hands out Fractured (×2.75) eggs. And hatch rewards are a permanent speed source that scales into the millions per hatch by Cosmic.

No pass sells a pet, an egg, a colour mutation or a size roll, according to everything in the register. Limited eggs come from the Store or events, per the Eggs page, but the wiki does not document Store prices. There is no code system to discount anything. And Roblox's badge numbers suggest the paid items do not buy the endgame by themselves: on 13 September 2026, 0.5 % of players held the Angelic Treadmill badge and 0.8 % had hatched a Divine.

Check the price in-game — the wiki was edited on 5 and 7 September 2026 and prices can change. Check that the pass does what you think: 2x Money doubles income, it does not double hatch rewards, and the wiki does not say otherwise. And check whether a free system already covers the need; more often than not, it does.

The pass's price is not legible in the wiki source, but its effect is clear enough to reason about: a pen is exposed for half as long. On the wiki's grow times, that is the difference between these pairs (our arithmetic):

The marginal cost column tells you where the value is. The first four doublings (×2 to ×16) cost 3, 6, 15 and 15 Robux — 39 Robux for sixteen times your speed for the duration of the boost. The last doubling, ×2K to ×4K, costs 426 Robux on its own. If you buy at all, the wiki's price list rewards buying small: a ×16 for 39 Robux is enough to turn a Lake-ready 1,000 speed into Desert-ready 16,000 for one run.

The two purchase-linked badges are the rarest in the game: 1.0 % of players held Divine Trail! and 0.5 % held Angelic Treadmill! on 13 September 2026, against 0.8 % who had hatched a Divine. Whatever the top trail and treadmill cost, few players have them, and a majority of Divine hatches happened without the Angelic Treadmill badge. The endgame is reachable without the top purchases; the badges prove it.

Buy passes only through the game's own shop or the Roblox game-pass page linked below. No site, Discord or video can sell you a Steal an Egg pass at a discount, and there is no code system to apply one. Anyone asking for your login to 'add a pass' is not selling a pass.

Which single purchase clears which gate from a given starting speed — our arithmetic on the wiki's multipliers and the Area page's gates. Read it as a ceiling, not a plan: the return trip with a large egg still needs more than the gate.

You lose nothing that the wiki documents as gated behind Robux. Every zone, every nest pet, every natural mutation and the whole Rift event are reachable without a purchase; the badge percentages show that most players who reach the top tiers did so without the top treadmill. Robux buys time, not access.
