Steal an Egg codes: there are none — here is what the free rewards really are

Codes are common in Roblox simulators, so search engines have learned to expect a codes page for every new hit, and a lot of sites publish one for every game whether or not the game has a code box. Some copy code names from other games; some invent them; some list codes that 'may have expired', which is a way of listing nothing. For Steal an Egg the register is unusually clear: the wiki says no codes and no redeem mechanism, and the developer's own description does not mention codes.

We looked for a counter-source. The official group page has an empty description. The badges list contains no code-related badge. Nothing in the 171 wiki pages we pulled mentions redeeming anything. So the answer stands until something changes in-game.

Four systems put speed, money or mutations in your hands without Robux. All four are documented on the wiki and one is reported by Roblox itself.

Hatch rewards. Every hatch pays a one-off amount of speed and cash on top of the pet's income. In Forest the speed is the point: Chicken +420, Dog +460, Bird +500, Fox +720, Bear +820, Brr Brr Patapim +1k — enough to pass Lake's 900 gate from three hatches. Later rewards are large: Axolotl +4k speed and $280k; Cerberus +42k and $800m; Kitsune +6.5m and $180b.

Badges. Roblox awards six badges in the game — WELCOME!, Hatched Secret!, Hatched Eternal!, Hatched Divine!, Divine Trail! and Angelic Treadmill! — and publishes how many players hold each. Badges are recognition rather than currency, but the percentages are the only official rarity data the game has.

The Rift Boss Shop. During the Rift event, a rift opens somewhere on the map every 30 minutes; defeating the Overlord inside earns Boss Tokens. The Boss Shop sells temporary cash multipliers, speed multipliers and treadmill boosters, plus a consumable Mutation Shard with a 10 % chance to apply a mutation to an egg already in your pen. Boss Mastery points, earned per Overlord, unlock rewards including eggs pre-loaded with the Fractured mutation (×2.75).

Bear traps. Free and unlimited: place one while holding an egg, three on the map at once, seven-second hold, none in the safe zone.

The wiki documents one game pass with a price — 2x Money at 399 Robux — and a table of temporary speed multipliers: ×2 for 3 Robux, ×4 for 9, ×8 for 24, ×16 for 39, ×32 for 79, ×64 for 129, ×128 for 199, ×256 for 299, ×512 for 499, ×1K for 649, ×2K for 949 and ×4K for 1,375. The wiki's Gamepasses page also lists a 2x growth speed pass without a legible price. That is the paid side of the economy; there is no code side.

It does not tell you where to type the code. It says codes 'may have expired' for a game with no codes. Its 'working codes' are generic strings — release, 100k, thankyou — that appear on codes pages for dozens of games. It has no date, or a date that updates itself every day. It asks you to join a Discord, follow an account or log in to see the codes. Any one of those is enough.

Usually: free speed, because the next zone gate looks impossible. The honest routes to speed are on the speed guide — hatch rewards first, then pens, then the treadmill, then trails. Sometimes: a free rare pet. The Rift Sacrifice hands you an exclusive Rift Egg for three random pets, and Boss Mastery hands out Fractured eggs. Sometimes: a mutation. Mutation Shards from the Boss Shop are the only after-the-fact mutation, at 10 %. None of those are codes, and all of them work.

Egg colour, incidentally, is not a reward either: the wiki's Eggs page says colours change appearance only. If a code page promises a 'golden egg code', it is promising a cosmetic that does not exist through a system that does not exist.

The group behind the game — 'and Collect Rare Pets', 59.66 million members on 13 September 2026 — updated the game on 12 September and adds zones and events at a pace the wiki struggles to keep up with, so a code system is not impossible. When one appears it will be visible in-game as a redeem button or sign, the wiki's Codes page will change, and this page will list the codes with the date each was verified working. Until then the active list above is empty on purpose.

Roblox lists six badges for Steal an Egg. They are recognition, not currency, but they are earned for free and their statistics are published, which makes them the only official reward data the game has. On 13 September 2026 the percentages of players holding each were: WELCOME! 7.8 %, Hatched Secret! 3.4 %, Hatched Eternal! 1.7 %, Divine Trail! 1.0 %, Hatched Divine! 0.8 %, Angelic Treadmill! 0.5 %.

Read as a ladder they tell you what the game considers an achievement: staying long enough to be welcomed, then hatching each of the top three tiers, then buying the top trail and the top treadmill. None of them is unlocked by a code.

Because this question will keep coming back with every update, here is the test we apply, in order, before changing the word 'none' at the top of this page.

Three things, any one of which would be enough: a redeem control visible in the game's own menus; the official Roblox description mentioning codes; or the community wiki's Codes page listing a code with a reward. We re-read the wiki page and the official description on a schedule and note the date at the top of this page each time. As of the date shown there, none of the three has happened. If you have seen a redeem screen in-game, a screenshot to the contact address is the fastest way to get this page updated — we will verify it in-game the same day before publishing anything.
