Steal an Egg Angels and Demons: both sides, the Secret Shrine and every income
Pet names, rarities and incomes are quoted from the Steal An Egg Wiki's Angels & Demons zone page, the Biomes, Updates and Drop Rates pages and the individual pet pages, all re-read 21 October 2026. Ratios, sums and multiplied incomes are our own arithmetic on those numbers.
Steal an Egg Angels and Demons is a zone that does not stay the same from one night to the next. According to the wiki, it transforms every night into either an Angel theme or a Demon theme, and each theme brings its own set of eight pets to steal. Now and then a rarer third state appears: a secret Merged form that combines both sides and adds extra luck while it is active. The wiki's Biomes page says the same thing in different words: the biome randomly appears in one of three forms, Angels, Demons, or both at once, and a Secret Shrine is hidden inside the waterfall in all three.
This page collects what the wiki documents about the zone: the 20,000,000,000 speed gate, the eight Light Animals and eight Darkness Animals, the two pets you can only craft at the Shrine, and how the zone's incomes compare with Titan Temple, the zone below it. The wiki's own pages disagree in a few places, most visibly on what the two Shrine pets earn, and we name both numbers every time rather than pick one. Where the wiki is silent, we say so.
How the zone arrived, and how the flip works
The wiki's Updates page lists the zone as Update 4, titled "Angels vs Demons", without a calendar date. The zone's own wiki page was first created on 12 September 2026, which is the earliest date the register can attach to it. Update 4's patch notes describe the zone as a new biome that shifts between Angels and Demons each night, "bringing 16 new animals, a secret shrine, and a brand-new egg". The brand-new egg is the Luminous Egg, which replaced the Monster Egg in the same update; it is not one of the zone's own eggs.
There is a small difference in wording between the sources. The patch notes say that every night the biome "has a chance to transform" into Angels or Demons. The zone page says it "transforms every night". The Biomes page says it "randomly appears in 1 of 3 forms". None of those three pages gives odds. A separate wiki page, Drop Rates (created 16 October 2026), does list a chance for each of the three forms and for every pet, figures it says were read from the game's files. No Roblox or developer source confirms them, so this site does not republish them. No wiki page says how long a night lasts or how much extra luck the Merged form adds.
The count also needs one line of explanation. Update 4 promised 16 new animals, and the zone page shows 18 pets. The difference is the two Shrine fusions, Equinox and Aetheron, which you craft rather than steal.
Light Animals: the eight Angel-side pets
These are the pets the zone page lists under Light Animals, in the order it lists them, with the base income each card shows. Base income is before any mutation or size multiplier. The details in brackets come from the individual pet pages, which in two cases (Winged Lamb and Toro) list a slightly different income from the zone card.
- Light Dove — Legendary — $225K/s (its own page and the wiki's pet data module, rev 2636, agree)
- Winged Lamb — Mythic — $1.25M/s (its own page lists $1.2m/s, a +4m speed and $125m reward and an 8m grow time)
- Sacred Moth — Cosmic — $16M/s
- Holy Peacock — Cosmic — $25M/s
- Pure Jellyfish — Secret — $225M/s
- Centaur — Secret — $350M/s
- Pegasus — Eternal — $1.3B/s (its own page adds a hatch reward of +200m speed and $140b, and a 5h grow time)
- ArchAngel — Divine — $5B/s
Darkness Animals: the eight Demon-side pets
The Darkness list mirrors the Light list slot for slot. Same rarities, same order, and as the comparison further down shows, the same incomes. The extra details in brackets come from the individual pet pages; the zone page itself marks every reward as "Unconfirmed".
- Flame Sprite — Legendary — $225K/s (its own page and the wiki's pet data module, rev 2636, agree)
- Toro — Mythic — $1.25M/s (its own page lists $1.2m/s, +4m speed and $125m, 8m grow time)
- Imp — Cosmic — $16M/s
- Demon Hound — Cosmic — $25M/s (its page: +20m speed, $2.5b reward, 20m grow time)
- Gargoyle — Secret — $225M/s
- RazorFang — Secret — $350M/s (its page: +90M speed, $35B reward, 3h 15m grow time)
- Skeleton Horse — Eternal — $1.3B/s (its page: +200M speed, $130B reward, 5h grow time)
- World Burner — Divine — $5B/s (its page: 18 hour grow time)
The Secret Shrine is the only fusion the wiki documents
The zone page introduces the Shrine with a line of in-game flavour: the Demons have been whispering about a secret shrine hidden somewhere in the biome. The Biomes page is more specific and places it inside the waterfall, in any of the three forms. At the Shrine you combine one Light pet with its Darkness counterpart of the same rarity. Only two recipes are documented:
- Pegasus + Skeleton Horse (the two Eternals) = Equinox, Eternal
- ArchAngel + World Burner (the two Divines) = Aetheron, Divine
Equinox and Aetheron each have two incomes
This is where the wiki contradicts itself, and it matters because these are the two most valuable pets the zone can give you.
Equinox: the zone page's Shrine card says $2.6B/s. The Equinox pet page infobox says $1.8B/s, with a 10hrs grow time.
Aetheron: the zone page's Shrine card says $10B/s. Aetheron's own pet page (edited 21 October 2026) says 6.9B/s with an 18 hour grow time, and the wiki's Pets and Eggs table also lists it at $6.9B/s. The pet page labels its biome "Angels", although the zone page says it is crafted from one pet of each side.
One pattern is worth noticing, and it is our arithmetic, not a wiki statement. Both zone-page values are exactly the sum of the two pets that go in: $1.3B + $1.3B = $2.6B, and $5B + $5B = $10B. If the inputs are consumed, the zone-page numbers would mean a fusion keeps the same total income in one pen slot instead of two. The pet-page numbers would mean the fused pet earns more than either input alone but less than the pair: $1.8B against $2.6B for two Eternals, $6.9B against $10B for two Divines. Until the wiki settles on one value, plan around the lower one.
Is the Demons side the best zone, or the Angels side?
Neither side earns more. Pair the lists slot by slot and every Light pet has a Darkness twin with an identical base income: Light Dove and Flame Sprite both $225K/s, Centaur and RazorFang both $350M/s, ArchAngel and World Burner both $5B/s, and so on down all eight slots. Which form the zone takes on a given night changes the names and the look of what you can steal, not the money. The only reason to prefer a side is the Shrine, which needs one Eternal or Divine from each, so you need pets from both sides, collected on an Angel night and a Demon night or during the Merged form, to craft anything.
As a zone, Angels & Demons does hold the top base incomes of any zone on the Biomes page's progression. ArchAngel and World Burner at $5B/s beat Nightflame, Titan Temple's best at $3B/s. Across all 265 pets in our table, twelve list more than $5B/s: Spirit World Guardian ($26B/s on its own page, $15B/s in the wiki's pet data module) and Royal Skywhale ($8B/s) from the Enchanted Forest, a zone the Biomes page does not yet include; Zombified Bone Emperor ($14B/s) and Zombified Phantom Dragon ($6B/s) from the Zombified Halloween Egg; Voidseer Pumpkin ($12.5B/s on its own page, $14B/s in the module) and Bone Emperor ($7.5B/s) from the Halloween Dimension; Cursed Monarch ($12.5B/s) and Pumpkin King ($8.5B/s), which the module gives no biome; Skeletal Sabertooth at $9B/s (Skeletal Egg); the event pet Mecha Scrambler at $7.5B/s; Aetheron at the 6.9B/s on its infobox (its zone card says $10B/s), tenth overall; and Luminous Cthulhu, a Luminous Egg re-roll, at $6.5B/s in the module. ArchAngel and World Burner share 13th place with Nuceodile and Sabertooth at $5B/s. Whether a far zone is "best" for you also depends on reaching it, which is the next point.
Angels & Demons against Titan Temple, tier by tier
Titan Temple is the eleventh zone, with a 7B speed gate and Gorilla King as its guardian. Comparing the best pet of each rarity in both zones shows how much the 20B gate buys. These are our ratios on the wiki's listed incomes.

| Rarity | Angels & Demons (best) | Titan Temple (best) | Ratio |
|---|---|---|---|
| Legendary | Light Dove / Flame Sprite, $225K/s | Crustacia, $130K/s | 1.73× |
| Mythic | Winged Lamb / Toro, $1.2m/s on their pet pages ($1.25M/s on the zone page) | Bladehide, $750k/s | 1.6× (1.67× on the zone-page value) |
| Cosmic | Holy Peacock / Demon Hound, $25M/s | Rhinotaur, $17.5M/s | 1.43× |
| Secret | Centaur / RazorFang, $350M/s | Mutant Shark, $215M/s | 1.63× |
| Eternal | Pegasus / Skeleton Horse, $1.3B/s | Gorilla King, $880M/s | 1.48× |
| Divine | ArchAngel / World Burner, $5B/s | Nightflame, $3B/s | 1.67× |
| Speed gate | 20B | 7B | 2.86× |
20,000,000,000 speed: what the gate asks of you
The zone page lists the requirement as 20,000,000,000 speed, and the Biomes page calls the zone end-game for that reason. That is 2.86 times Titan Temple's 7B, while the best incomes rise only 1.4 to 1.7 times. The Biomes page adds a warning that applies here more than anywhere: having enough speed to enter does not mean you have enough to get back with a large egg, because bigger eggs slow you down.
Update 4 also added a new tier of Treadmill and Trail. The wiki's Treadmill data lists a Demonic Treadmill (Eternal, +1k Speed/Step, 50T $) and an Angelic Treadmill (Divine, +2k Speed/Step, 1Qa $), but it does not say which tier arrived with Update 4. The speed guide covers the full treadmill and trail ladder.
Who guards the zone?
The zone page shows two guardian portraits, labelled Angel Guardian and Demon Guardian, without naming them. The Biomes table names the guardians as "ArchAngel, World Burner, Aetheron". The wiki does not describe how the guardians behave differently from those in other zones, or which one appears during the Merged form.
Four numbers people ask about
Each answer below starts from a wiki value. Anything multiplied is our arithmetic, using the Mutations page multipliers; the mutation calculator does the same sums for any pet.
- How much does ArchAngel make a second? $5B/s base, per its page and the zone page. That is $18T per hour before mutations (5B × 3,600). A Golden roll (×2.5) gives $12.5B/s; Rainbow (×3.5) gives $17.5B/s.
- Centaur money: $350M/s base, the top Light-side Secret. Rainbow would take it to $1.225B/s.
- RazorFang with the Scrambled mutation: Scrambled is ×2.75, obtained from Dr. Scramble's Shop and applied to an egg with a 10% chance. $350M × 2.75 = $962.5M/s at base size. The Mutations page's weight formula (base × (weight ÷ base weight)^(37/60) below 125 times base weight) gives ×1.53 at twice the base weight and ×4.14 at ten times, so a ten-times RazorFang with Scrambled would list about $3.98B/s.
- Equinox: $2.6B/s on the zone page, $1.8B/s on its own page (10hrs grow time), crafted from Pegasus and Skeleton Horse at the Shrine.
What the wiki does not document
Gaps worth knowing before you plan around this zone:
- The length of a night, or how much luck the Merged form adds. The only odds for the three forms are on the wiki's Drop Rates page, which cites the game's files and no primary source.
- Whether Shrine inputs are consumed, or whether mutations and size carry into Equinox or Aetheron.
- A Sun Lion in this zone. No Angels & Demons pet is called that. The wiki's Celestial Sunlion page (created 14 October 2026) lists an Eternal from the Enchanted Forest at $2B/s, with +120M speed and $200B on hatch. The Enchanted Forest zone page itself still carries Titan Temple's income figures in its cards.
- Which zone is now highest. The Enchanted Forest page calls itself the highest zone at 50,000,000,000 speed, while the Biomes page (edited 20 September 2026) still ends at Angels & Demons. The Update 7 page carries only the heading "Enchanted Forest".
- Hatch rewards for six of the 18 pets: Imp, Centaur, ArchAngel, World Burner, Equinox and Aetheron. The zone page marks every reward "Unconfirmed"; the other twelve rewards come only from the individual pet pages.
Questions people ask
- How much speed do you need for Angels & Demons in Steal an Egg?
- 20,000,000,000 (20B), per the wiki's zone page and Biomes table. That is 2.86 times Titan Temple's 7B requirement, and the wiki warns that large eggs slow you down on the way back.
- Do Angel and Demon pets earn different amounts?
- No. Each Light pet has a Darkness counterpart of the same rarity and the same listed base income, from Light Dove and Flame Sprite at $225K/s up to ArchAngel and World Burner at $5B/s.
- How do you get Aetheron?
- Combine ArchAngel and World Burner at the Secret Shrine, which the Biomes page places inside the zone's waterfall. Its income is listed as $10B/s on the zone page and 6.9B/s on its own pet page, with an 18 hour grow time.
- How many pets are in Angels and Demons?
- 18: eight Light Animals, eight Darkness Animals, and two Shrine fusions, Equinox and Aetheron. Update 4's notes count 16 because the fusions are crafted rather than stolen.
