Zone: Volcano. Rarity: Epic. Egg: Lava Frog Egg. Volcano is zone 6 of 12 on the wiki's Biomes list; the wiki lists its entry requirement as 700K speed, and the nests there are watched by the Cerberus. That is the whole route to a Lava Frog.
$850 per second is the base rate the wiki records for Lava Frog (7th of 8 in Volcano — Lava Dragon tops the Volcano at $100M/s).
With a colour mutation and no size bonus, the same Lava Frog would earn roughly: Silver ×1.2 ≈ $1.02K/s, Golden ×2.5 ≈ $2.12K/s, Rainbow ×3.5 ≈ $2.98K/s (multipliers from the wiki's Mutations page; arithmetic is ours). Add a Giant (×3) or Huge (×5) size roll on top and the numbers multiply again.
Hatching it pays a one-off reward of +27k Speed, $85k, and the egg takes 1m 30s to grow in the pen. That reward is the reason low-income eggs are still worth stealing early: the speed bonus is what gets you into the next zone.
Epics are the mid-tier of their zone — a good candidate for your first mutation roll because the base rate is high enough to matter.
A mutated or oversized Lava Frog earns a multiple of its $850/s base. Pick Lava Frog in the Steal an Egg calculator to apply the wiki's mutation and size multipliers.
